With the Tables, Ladders, & Chairs pay-per-view around the corner, Asuka looked to avenge her loss at WrestleMania against Charlotte Flair.
In their second-ever televised meeting, the former SmackDown Women’s Champion requested this match against the longest reigning NXT Women’s Champion. Flair wanted to prove that win wasn’t a fluke as well as gain momentum heading into the TLC Triple Threat match with Becky Lynch. With the current champion watching at ringside, her two challengers brought out the best in one another once again.

While e Charlotte attempted another moonsault and blocked Asuka’s counter, Asuka still managed to secure the Asuka Lock. The two would fight to the outside, where Flair took the kendo stick and attacked Asuka for the disqualification loss. Becky Lynch would look over Charlotte and Asuka before she began walking off. Charlotte ould attack Becky from behind and a brawl between all three ensued. Asuka would take advantage of both women, beating them down with the kendo stick as she stood tall to end the go-home edition of SmackDown Live.
