For the go-home Monday Night RAW before TLC, Seth Rollins won in the first TLC match in 5 years on the Monday night program, retaining the Intercontinental Championship against Baron Corbin.
Rollins would goad Corbin into a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match after criticizing his run as acting general manager. Corbin would up the ante by making Rollins put his IC Title on the line as well leading to the main event. Corbin would try to stack the deck early, assigning Heath Slater as the official after intimidating him to keep his job. The plan was almost a success, but Rollins recovered to give Corbin a powerbomb through the table and later superkicking Slater to eliminate him out the equation. After delivering a Curb Stomp, Rollins would be able to retrieve the IC Title above the ring and retain the title.
After the match, Dean Ambrose would walk down the ring and stare Rollins down, as the two will face each other this Sunday at the Tables, Ladders, And Chairs pay-per-view.
