The “New” Daniel Bryan appeared as a guest on MizTV, their first meeting since Bryan won the WWE Championship and turned heel.
Bryan, donning a larger grunge look, took quotes from Alexander Hamilton while chastising the crowd for their poor care for the environment. Miz, who was both amused and confused, wanted to get the truth out of Bryan. For years, Miz believed that Bryan was nothing more but a facade to the crowd and wanted to feel justified for his recent actions. Bryan didn’t care to give Miz that satisfaction and instead let him and the WWE Universe know that the ‘YES! Movement’ is indeed dead.

AJ Styles would run out to the ring to attack Bryan, though Daniel would use Miz as a shield attempting to escape. Styles would eventually get his hands on the WWE Champion, but Miz caught him with a Skull Crush Finale, staring down Bryan who would give him a smile back.

As a result of the attack, the main event was announced with AJ Styles facing The Miz later tonight.
