NXT Tag Team Champion and Undisputed ERA member Roderick Strong look to be the suitable replacement to LAX to EVOLVE’s New York area shows on Dec. 15 and 16.
As previously reported, the IMPACT Tag Team Champions were pulled by the company from working the event, despite the growing mutual partnership between IMPACT and WWE. The latter company plays a significant role with the current direction in EVOLVE, as two out of their three top championship titles are held by NXT talent (Fabian Aichnr is the EVOLVE Champion while The Street Profits are the EVOLVE Tag Team Champions). Strong, a former FIP World Champion and EVOLVE alum, feel that he himself should become EVOLVE Champion.
Thought of the day- NXT Superstars holding #EVOLVE titles? Well there are no bigger Superstars than the #UndisputedERA and I’ve won just about every @WWNLive title but the #EVOLVE title. So Maybe Dec. 15th I come to La Boom and #ShocktheSystem? #OurERA

So far, he has received a few takers, most notably EVOLVE standout Darby Allin, who wants to challenge Strong to a singles match on EVOLVE 118:
Before you go around throwing challenges…..TAKE a hard look at who's been fighting for that EVOLVE championship.
So before I learn my lesson let's see how bad things can get.
Come on down to EVOLVE and pay me a visit at EVOLVE 118 on Dec 16 in Deer Park, NY. https://t.co/rFJ1ppmHXz
