After bringing back his IC Title Open Challenge, Seth Rollins would retain against the sole individual who defeated him before, Dolph Ziggler.
Rollins is continuing to fulfill his responsibility as a fighting champion despite the issues with Dean Ambrose. Ziggler responded to the challenge claiming to have Rollins’ number, though he is also facing a losing streak since losing the tag team titles. Ziggler would put up a major fight, but “Monday Night Rollins” would prevail in a 20-minute battle. Ziggler would yet again lose another singles match and his role as Drew McIntyre’s sidekick might be in question.
