The attack on Braun Strowman last night on RAW was a reasoning to give “The Monster Among Men” time to get elbow surgery done. John Pollock of Post Wrestling during his Rewind-A-Raw podcast reported that Braun is going to get surgery done next week and there is currently no idea for when he’ll be able to make a return. Pollock’s quote is below (transcription credit should go to @Dominic DeAngelo at WrestleZone)
“So he is hurt. He is apparently going for elbow surgery and that was tonight’s angle to set that up. I was told the surgery was going to be next week and they’re not going to know how long he’s gonna be out until he gets through the surgery. The fact that they set up the match for TLC tells me that they’re optimistic he’ll be able to wrestle next month at TLC, but I guess that’s not guaranteed either. I mean it’s elbow surgery. That’s not like a massive surgery but it’s not nothing either.”
