Chris Jericho Isn’t Pleased With Wrestle Kingdom Match Announcement

Earlier, it was announced by NJPW that Chris Jericho would defend his IWGP Intercontinental Championship against former Champion Tetsuya Naito on January 4th at Wrestle Kingdom. However, Chris Jericho on Twitter is certainly appearing as though he irate about this match announcement and is saying he does not accept the match. It is worth noting that at the post-show press conference for NJPW Power Struggle, after defeating EVIL to successfully retain his Intercontinental Championship, Chris Jericho said that he already made Naito famous and did not want to be bothered with him again:

Hey , just because you “announce” a match, doesn’t mean I have to accept it. NOT APPROVED.

Chris even took some time to reply to fans that feel like Y2J may be ducking the leader of LIJ:

Why are you running from the guy… just sayin not very sportsmanlike or the way of a champion in my book.
