WWE World Cup Tournament – First Round
The Miz vs Jeff Hardy
Hardy kicks Miz early and backs him in the corner, but Miz leaps up with a kick and applies a seated headlock. Hardy comes back with some elbows, but Miz hits his breaker combo for two before connecting with a corner clothesline. Hardy avoids a second one and knocks Miz down, then follows with an atomic drop and split legdrop for two. Miz blocks a Twist Of Fate attempt, but Jeff follows up with Whisper In The Wind for two, then Miz charges the corner and kicks Hardy in the thighs. Miz attempts a Figure Four leglock but Hardy rolls him up, and Miz ends up on the floor so Hardy runs across the barricade and clotheslines Miz.
Miz catches Hardy off guard on the way in the ring, but the ref catches him with his feet on the ropes and stops the count. Hardy goes for another Twist Of Fate, but Miz counters and hits the Skull Crushing Finale for the win.
Winner – The Miz

Seth Rollins vs Bobby Lashley (w/ Lio Rush)
Lashley overpowers Rollins early and slams him on the mat for two, then applies a side headlock and tries to keep Rollins grounded. Lashley then hits a reverse STO and goes for a delayed suplex, but Rollins reverses and clothelines Lashley out to the floor. Rollins comes back with a dive on the floor, then Lashley continues to overpower him again, but Rollins leapfrogs him to avoid a corner tackle and catches him with The Stomp for the win.
Winner – Seth Rollins

Kurt Angle vs Dolph Ziggler (w/ Drew McIntyre)
Kurt corners Dolph and tries to suplex him, but Dolph gets away on the apron. Kurt tries to suplex him off of it, but Dolph counters and whips Kurt shoulder first into the steel steps. Dolph applies a headlock in the ring, then Kurt finally breaks free and kicks Dolph in the face before connecting with three German suplexes for a two count. Kurt goes for an Angle Slam but Dolph counters with a DDT and goes for a Fameasser. Kurt ducks and hits an Angle Slam for two as Drew jumps on the apron, but Kurt takes the straps down and calls for the Ankle Lock. Dolph hits a Fameasser for two, but Kurt comes right back with a successful Ankle Lock attempt, only to have Dolph roll through and kick Kurt into the corner. Dolph sidesteps Kurt charging the corner and slams him into the ringpost, then Dolph hits the Zig Zag for the win.
Winner – Dolph Ziggler
