Cody Rhodes recently lost the NWA World Championship to Nick Aldis at the NWA 70 event, which means the pair have split contests with each other. Aldis was recently on the Sirius XM radio show Busted Open where he talked about a third match possibly happening at the Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro-Wrestling G1 Supercard event that is scheduled for Madison Square Garden next year.
However, that won’t be happening. Rhodes went to Twitter to state that he won’t be competing at that event. “No,” bluntly responded the current NJPW US Champion. “I am not on that show.”

Rhodes recently said that he is finishing his remaining dates for Ring of Honor, is no longer a Bullet Club member, and will be transitioning to a “new role” within professional wrestling.
