Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro-Wrestling will join forces once again for the Global Wars Tour this upcoming November. Announced so far are current IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion KUSHIDA and Los Ingobernables de Japon member BUSHI.

Here’s more from ROHWrestling.com:

Six-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion KUSHIDA of New Japan Pro-Wrestling makes his return to Ring of Honor when the two companies join forces for November’s Global Wars tour, which will be streamed LIVE for HonorClub.

KUSHIDA is coming off a big victory over Marty Scurll last week in Tokyo in the finals of a four-man tournament for the vacant championship. Only the legendary Jushin “Thunder” Liger has won the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title more times than KUSHIDA.

A two-time winner of the prestigious Best of the Super Juniors tournament and a two-time former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion, KUSHIDA also has worn gold in ROH. He held the ROH World Television Title for more than four months last year after winning it from Marty Scurll.

At the Best in the World pay-per-view this past June, KUSHIDA pushed Jay Lethal to the limit before ultimately losing to the man who would go on to win the ROH World Title the following night.

Global Wars events have been must-see shows since their inception four years ago. All roads now lead to the ROH/NJPW G1 Supercard at Madison Square Garden in New York City on April 6, 2019, and what transpires on the Global Wars shows could play a significant role in what the historic card looks like.

And for BUSHI:

New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s BUSHI makes his return to Ring of Honor when the two companies join forces for November’s Global Wars tour, which will be streamed LIVE for HonorClub.

BUSHI, who has been a champion in NJPW and Mexico’s CMLL, is the fourth member of Los Ingobernables de Japon to be signed for the tour, joining Tetsuya Naito, EVIL and SANADA.

One of the most accomplished junior heavyweights in the sport, BUSHI is a former IWGP Junior Heavyweight and CMLL World Welterweight champion. He also has won the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Titles three times with EVIL and SANADA.

BUSHI, who made his U.S. debut with ROH in 2017, last competed in ROH this past June, when he, EVIL and SANADA defeated Bullet Club (The Young Bucks and “Hangman” Adam Page) and SoCal Uncensored (Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky) in a three-way six-man tag match.
