Eli Drake vs. James Ellsworth
James Ellsworth came out to into the challenge but Josh Mathews on commentary was quick to announced that he wasn’t a New York native and that was one of the rules in order to answer the challenge.
James Ellsworth claims that because he was dating a girl from Staten Island (Carmella) and he lived in her basement, that he is eligible to answer this challenge. The people are not happy and are chanting very non-pg things at Ellsworth. Ellsworth got the jump on Drake and the match is underway. The match was finished as quickly as it began after Eli hit The Gravy Train twice.
Winner: Eli Drake
Post-Match: Eli asked for Hall of Fame Talent and that was the cue for Abyss to hit the ring who would put Eli Drake through a table with a chokeslam.
A video package played for the Knockouts Championship match.
Knockouts Championship Match: Tessa Blanchard (c) vs Taya Valkyrie
The match started off very physical with Taya getting the advantage. She had a wonderful spear on the champion but Tessa rolled to the floor. Tessa hit a wonderful draping neckbreaker on the apron. Followed by a codebreaker for 2. Taya hit a superplex that floated over into a guillotine choke but to no avail. Tessa would hit a pretty solid cutter for a two count. Tessa kicked out of Road To Valhalla and Taya would kick out of Tessa’s signature Buzzsaw DDT.
Taya tried for a powerbomb but Tessa countered into a hurricanrana sending Taya face-first into the middle turnbuckle and then Tessa would hit a flying codebreaker from halfway across the ring, called Magnum, for the three count on this successful title defense.
