The WWE Network’s purple brand made a move to Wednesdays last week and now 205 Live kicks off one of the more action-packed days of the wrestling week with two grudge matches. We also receive more buildup for the upcoming Cruiserweight Championship match for WWE Super Show-Down between Cedric Alexander and Buddy Murphy.
The opening match in Denver had “The Man of the Hour” Lio Rush against the “Scottish Supernova” Noam Dar. Rush has been avoiding Dar for the past few weeks until Drake Maverick demanded he had the match for this week. After a back-and-forth athletic contest, Rush got the upper hand and caught Dar off guard, picking up the victory.

Cedric Alexander and Buddy Murphy had a sit-down with 205 Live general manager, Drake Maverick, to discuss their match at WWE Super Show-Down. Murphy believed that Alexander only got by because he was in his hometown in front of his family. Now Murphy will have the hometown advantage as they will be in Melbourne, Australia for the match and he promises to walk away as the new Cruiserweight Champion.
The Brian Kendrick, with Drew Gulak and Jack Gallagher in tow, won a quick squash match as the trio still looks to reign supreme across 205 Live:

The main event featured a rematch nearly two months in the making between Mustafa Ali wanting revenge against Hideo Itami for injuring him. In a physical, grueling battle, the two pulled out all the stops to try to end one another. This culminated with Ali attempting a 450 Splash onto Itami as he was on the apron. With both men out of commision outside of the ring, the match ended in a double count-out, leaving no victor and another chapter to be written between this feud:
