#1.) The reason why she left WWE in 2014
With Kaitlyn having a championship in her resumé and a seemingly promising future ahead, why did she end her WWE and wrestling career so early in 2014? She had just gotten married and then decided to call it quits with the company, requesting for her contract to be terminated.
It wasn’t the marriage that made her do this. Kaitlyn stated before that she felt like she was in a downwards slump towards the end of her WWE run. She said: “I was very unhappy the last 6 months that I was there. After having a phenomenal year with the company, I was on a downward slope. I was mostly unhappy with myself physically and it began to affect my emotional state. I had health and weight issues which in turn negatively affected my career.”
She then decided to focus on her marriage and her clothing line. It would be four and a half years before she stepped foot in the squared circle again.
