Kaitlyn has stated before that while strong women such as Natalya, Beth Phoenix and her mother inspired her to be a wrestler, Goldberg played a huge impact too. It’s hard to argue that Kaitlyn had the best spear of any female in the past decade (sorry Charlotte) and she revealed that whenever she would use the spear she would always try to channel her “inner Goldberg”.
It’s no surprise that the spear was the very move she used when winning the Divas Championship in 2013.
