With the Intercontinental title up for grabs, the two superstars stole the show. One of the most famous stories about this match is how Savage planned and choreographed the entire bout.
Steamboat and Savage practiced the match multiple times leading up to WrestleMania, with Savage even sending a fax of how the match would go down to Steamboat.
