The dynamic between Morrison and The Miz is often overlooked. The two spent years together as tag team partners and champions while being great friends outside the ring. They elevated each other and helped each other’s weaknesses in a way that not many had seen. Neither of their careers would be the same without each other.
While The Miz turned on Morrison to kickstart a fantastic singles career, they would only truly meet in a singles match much later when The Miz was WWE Champion. Though The Miz would mostly come out on top, their slow-burning rivalry was far more important than many people realize.
