#5.) John Cena vs Kurt Angle
Among all of John Cena’s rivalries, the one with Kurt Angle is perhaps one of the most overlooked. It was an impromptu match against Kurt Angle that saw John Cena debut in 2002, and he never looked back. Four years later and months into his first WWE title reign, Cena was set to take on Eric Bischoff’s handpicked challenger Kurt Angle. While he did lose by disqualification, he would end up getting the better of Angle in the feud.
It was also in this feud that Cena developed his famous finisher STF, in a triple threat submissions only match on RAW. While it was one of the early feuds that Cena got booed as a babyface, it definitely took him to a whole new level. It’s no surprise that Kurt Angle chose Cena to induct him into the Hall Of Fame.
