In 2014 at SummerSlam, Nikki Bella shocked the world when she turned on her own sister Brie and assisted Stephanie McMahon in beating her. It led to a very uncomfortable feud between the two and it was clear that it wasn’t organic at all. Again, it was more of a storyline done for the sake of a storyline, but from the very beginning, it didn’t pan out at all.
To no surprise, they would quietly re-align again around November 2015 and given that there was no explanation, one can only wonder what the entire purpose of that angle was in the first place.
