#2.) Rikishi – 2000
Rikishi, as you know, is a WWE Hall of Famer who is mostly remembered to be the fun-loving babyface midcarder. He stuck to his role well and was a good and very entertaining part of the Attitude Era. At Survivor Series 1999, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin was run over by a vehicle and written out until the second half of 2000, where the angle picked up right where it left off.
With Mick Foley being the investigator, it was revealed that Rikishi, the babyface midcarder was the one who attacked Austin. This was when he spurted the line “I did it for The Rock“. While it was meant to give him a big push, he was defeated by Austin at No Mercy and then slid right down back the midcard.
