#4.) vs Kurt Angle vs Chris Harris vs Samoa Joe vs Christian Cage – Slammiversary 2007
In 2007, it was decided that the main event would feature the vacant TNA World Heavyweight Championship up for grabs. It was then announced that it would be a Fatal-5-Way “King of the Mountain” match and the stakes couldn’t get any higher. In pro wrestling, it’s hard to go wrong with a Fatal-5-Way match and this was TNA during its glory period.
The talent was hotter than ever, the quality of wrestling was on another level and it was simply fascinating to watch. Styles would be one of the big stars of the match and would, unfortunately, fall short to the experienced Kurt Angle, who won the World title.
