#4.) Team Cena vs Team Authority – Survivor Series
One of the greatest Survivor Series matches of all time – the stakes couldn’t have gotten any higher. John Cena and multiple other disgruntled superstars teamed up to battle the Authority, with the stipulation being that if team Cena won, then the Authority would have to disband (with only Cena having the power to reinstate them).
The crowd was hot for the match and the story told was fantastic. The odds would only further get stacked against Team Cena when The Big Show betrayed his team in favor of the Authority. It was Dolph Ziggler who would be the one to come to the team’s rescue (though he was only really there because Roman Reigns was injured) and the most notable event of the night was the debut of Sting.
The Vigilante made his first-ever WWE appearance, helping Dolph Ziggler pin Seth Rollins and win the match for his team. The Authority would be disbanded for all but a month before John Cena was forced to reinstate them.
