#1.) Ric Flair
What can one say about Ric Flair that already hasn’t been said? Simply put, he was, is and always will be the greatest of all time. There were few on Flair’s level and there has never been anyone like him since. He had a fitting farewell at WrestleMania 23, where he took on another all-time great in Shawn Michaels.
We all know about the emotional finale where Michaels said “I’m sorry, I love you” before hitting the sweet chin music and putting him out for good. Flair had tears in his eyes even when he was taking the pin and everything about the moment went to show just how much all of it meant to him.
The following night on RAW, the entire WWE roster came out to pay tribute to the greatest of all time. He may have come out of retirement for TNA, but for many fans, that was the true end of his career.
