The Warrior, despite being a beloved figure now, certainly had his fair share of backstage heat. One of the people who he had major heat with was Brutus Beefcake. For one, The Warrior had taken his spot at SummerSlam 1988, where The Honky Tonk Man‘s record Intercontinental title reign came to an end.
Even post-Warrior’s death, Beefcake’s resentment and anger towards Warrior had never ended. He claimed that Warrior was an egomaniac that took advantage of people. He even accused him of buying into his own hype.
