5 Best Women’s Matches In WrestleMania History

Women in WrestleMania haven’t had the best moments until the last few years. You already probably know the story about women’s status in WWE and where they stood on the card, and what was expected from them. For years, they were put in terrible spots and were expected to go on only for a few minutes while having pillow fights and all sorts of nonsensical stipulations.

Even during the first era of female wrestlers ushering in such as Trish Stratus and Lita, women really were never given their due. It was only after 2015 when WWE really began the process of pushing women hard on the main roster. Even then, it got off to a very slow start, and by WrestleMania 32, the first major step forward was made by abandoning the Divas division in favor of the Women’s division and a new Women’s Championship.

It was an example of WWE listening carefully to what the fans demanded, and they saved it till the big stage. Since then, the quality of women’s matches on the card have significantly gone up, and will only continue to do so as the years go by. We take a look at the best women’s matches in WrestleMania history.
