2015-16 was the early stages of WWE’s current edition of the women’s evolution. At the time, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Charlotte were still the fresh blood of the Divas division, and bar none the most talented women on the main roster. It would mark the end of the Divas Championship, as the WWE Women’s Championship was introduced (now the RAW Women’s Championship).
The match itself is still highly regarded, but a bit forgotten about sicne the women have constantly upped their game year by year, as well as the fact that the competition is much stiffer now. The three women would undoubtedly have the best women’s match in WrestleMania history up to that point, and they stole the show, continuing to prove why they deserved to be up there with the men.
