Bret The Hitman Hart is one of the biggest icons in the pro wrestling business. He revolutionized the industry and brought about a major change, one that ushered in an era known as the New Generation Era. Being front and center through the time until his departure in 1997, Bret Hart was the face of the WWF, and one of the most recognizable names in the 90s along with Shawn Michaels and ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin.

He’s had a rough journey through the business, getting in through his father Stu Hart. He started from the basics, being a referee while training. It would be one incident that saw him replace another wrestler that shot him into a more regular wrestling role. From there onwards, he would have a career that lasted over two decades, cementing a major legacy for himself.
