#2.) Chris Benoit – 2004
Time spent in the match: 1:01:35
This was another record-breaking performance from Chris Benoit. Naturally, this isn’t as celebrated as it was back then, but even so, it was a phenomenal achievement and Benoit’s performance was no-less phenomenal. He set the record for the longest time spent in the Rumble (which was broken two years later).
He entered at number one and would go on to overcome all sorts of odds and miraculously win the entire match. Fans rallied behind Benoit throughout and his dream was realized when he made the final elimination and booked his spot in the main event of WrestleMania 20. It was a moment of triumph for Benoit, and other wrestlers who fell into the “smaller” category.
