An “Iron Man” in the Royal Rumble match is defined as the superstar who has spent the longest duration in the match. Over the years, we’ve seen an evolution in the Iron Men of WWE. Initially, Iron Men didn’t really last too long in the Rumble, as the Rumble matches itself weren’t particularly long.

However, as talent evolved, athleticism evolved as well and superstars generally began to spend more time in the Rumble match. Records have been shattered and now, we even have the Iron Women in the female Royal Rumble match, with Sasha Banks being the first Iron Woman of the Rumble. She entered #1 and lasted just shy of 55 minutes.

Just to note, we’re not counting Daniel Bryan’s record from The Greatest Royal Rumble, as it was more of a Network special. The Royal Rumble match itself is prestigious and has WrestleMania implications, which makes it far greater than the show in Jeddah.  With that said, let’s look at the five greatest iron men in Royal Rumble history.
