Nick Aldis has been far greater for NWA than many people expected. Although his name is not brought up much in the conversation, Aldis so far has definitely been one of the best superstars to never sign with WWE. While his character may not have set the world on fire, there’s no denying the level at which Aldis has improved through the years.
He got a lot of exposure during his time in TNA and though he was a premier talent and a World Champion, he definitely wasn’t booked as well as he should have been. And as we know, when talent is booked wrong, it’s no real fault of their own. Despite this, Aldis managed to walk away from the company on good terms, having accomplished quite a lot. It simply became a matter that they couldn’t afford him at the time.
Aldis may not have gotten the opportunity to join WWE but as he’s stated, it’s just a matter of one call. However, what Aldis has done successfully upon his own admission is secure a good living through the business. He’s still young, so there’s time for him.
