#1.) The grand farewell
It was WrestleMania 26 in Arizona and Shawn Michaels was obsessed with getting the win back from the Undertaker after an unsuccessful attempt the previous year. He got his wish for the rematch, but with a cost – he had to retire if he lost. So the stage was set and it was Career vs Streak. A fitting main event, Shawn Michaels gave everything they had to steal the show one final time.
And steal the show he did. The Undertaker turned out to be the perfect dance partner in his swan song as he said goodbye after losing again. It was a touching moment and HBK got the stage that he deserved to wave farewell. He remained one of the few to stick to his guns and stay retired, that was until Crown Jewel in November 2018, where he reunited with Triple H as DX defeated The Brothers of Destruction.
