Not long after he lost the NXT title tournament finals, Jinder Mahal found himself on the main roster and soon after that, he and Drew McIntyre helped Heath Slater during his matches, forming the 3-man-band or 3MB.
However, when discussing the idea with Slater, the general assumption was that 3MB was going to consist of Fandango and Dean Ambrose. Mahal himself talked creative into joining 3MB and that was what happened. It all worked out for the best as Ambrose wound up joining The Shield and saw an upward trajectory of his career.
It’s practically unthinkable of Dean Ambrose being a part of 3MB.
