#5.) Being drafted to SmackDown Live
Jinder Mahal was quietly drafted to SmackDown Live in the 2017 Superstar Shake-Up. Shane McMahon loves calling SmackDown Live ‘The Land Of Opportunity’ and all said and done, it holds true, especially in cases like Jinder Mahal. During his first week on SmackDown, he lost to Mojo Rawley after distraction from Rob Gronkowski.
After SmackDown, he went on Talking Smack and cut a passionate promo about how he was the most hardworking and most improved wrestler on the roster. Whether you agree with him or not, his promo proved that when given the time and freedom, he could show a whole different side of himself.
He seized the opportunity merely one week later.
