He had been presented as The Undertaker’s biggest threat up to that point and the heated rivalry deservingly main evented The Grandest Stage Of Them All. Edge walked in as the defending champion and went to hell and back in his war against The Phenom.
The Rated-R Superstar did everything in his power, coming seconds away time and again to ending Undertaker’s undefeated WrestleMania streak. However, it wasn’t to be as The Phenom’s WrestleMania dominance was to continue. It still, however, remains Edge’s finest hour as a performer.
