#5.) vs Jeff Hardy – Extreme Rules 2009
Edge had come off a successful in a feud against John Cena for the World Heavyweight Championship after WrestleMania in 2009. With new challenges in mind, he moved to SmackDown, where he found his first challenger to be none other than his old rival Jeff Hardy.
He was successful in his first defence at Judgement Day, but he would then take him on in a ladder match in the main event. Hardy, being a master of the ladder match managed to get the better of The Rated-R Superstar in an outstanding contest. This time around, he was successful in dethroning Edge.
