Continuing the Lesnar story, NJPW President Simon Inoki hinted that Nakamura would be loaned to WWE to learn the North American style of wrestling. It was a part of his world excursion tour. However, Lesnar’s abrupt departure from NJPW meant that they needed Nakamura back urgently.
As a result, his move to WWE didn’t work out. In retrospect, it was likely for the best as he wasn’t nearly the polished performer that he is today. Sometimes, timing can be a great thing.
