#3.) He isn’t a big fan of Brock Lesnar
Shinsuke Nakamura had crossed paths with Brock Lesnar in early 2006 and he didn’t have the best impression of The Beast Incarnate. He lost to him at the Tokyo Dome when he challenged him for the IWGP Heavyweight title. He stated in his book that Lesnar would talk about how much he respected New Japan Pro Wrestling, but Nakamura felt it was all for show.
When he lost to him in the Tokyo Dome, he said it was the first time he cried after losing a pro wrestling match. When asked why, he revealed that he expected something different, with it being on the grandest stage. He got the vibe that Lesnar didn’t do it out of love or passion, but simply because it was his job.
He went on to state that when Lesnar was stripped of the IWGP Heavyweight title but kept the physical belt anyway, he felt he crossed the line and that he was scoffing at all of the talent.
