#3.) vs Edge – Unforgiven 2005

Matt Hardy was in the midst of a heated feud with The Rated-R Superstar Edge after real-life personal issues involving Lita as well. WWE decided to make a storyline out of it. At SummerSlam, their match ended abruptly with Hardy covered in blood. He then looked for revenge inside a steel cage match at Unforgiven.

The PPV itself was outstanding but seeing the grudge match take place inside the steel cage was special. This was Edge’s prime as a heel and he was the most hated man in the pro wrestling business. He played well to it too! Matt Hardy would prevail in the steel cage and it was a sweet moment for fans.
