#1.) Natalya vs Charlotte – NXT Takeover 2014
Natalya had gone to Full Sail University to participate in a tournament to crown a new NXT Women’s Champion after Paige vacated the title. She would make it to the finals, where she faced none other than Charlotte herself. The match was the first major Women’s match in NXT that really proved that the Women could steal the show. And steal the show they did.
The match would mark a huge turning point in the eventual Women’s Revolution. It was the beginning of a new era, where the women were wrestlers and not Divas anymore. When looking at the stages of the Women’s Evolution, this is one of the key landmarks.
It was also the first of many great matches that Charlotte and Natalya would have together. The Queen would beat Natalya to become the second-ever NXT Women’s Champion.
