Big Cass and The Big Show
His mic work has gotten much better, but I am not sold on Cass vs. Big Show. If anything, this is a good preshow match for SummerSlam and nothing more. It looks like Cass, when attacking Big Show, is being too careful when striking him. He is not laying into the guy that weighs around 350 pounds and can take a shot. I want to see a realistic attempt from Cass to beat down Show, not holding his hand when he strikes.
I am not sure where Cass will be in a year, but I am still under the belief that splitting those two guys up is a big mistake. They never reached a level of championship status, never overcame adversity and never thrived together. Cass and Enzo were good enough to be champions, but never perceived as championship material. Now, we are expected to buy into Big Cass? The timing is wrong, plain and simple.
The Hardy Boyz Lose Again
It is no secret that Matt and Jeff are at the top of their game. Also, the tease of the Broken Gimmick is perfect right now, getting the fans a small sample size of what we can expect. Losing two weeks in a row and in some sort of dirty fashion means that we are closer than ever now for the turn of Brother Nero and Broken Matt. They cannot randomly change into their broken gimmicks if they continued to win, continued to thrive at the top of their division.
Adversity and overcoming failures will be the reason they change to a broken gimmick. How do they debut? How are they included at SummerSlam? Too many good teams to be left off of the card, but will they aim for ANOTHER multi-man and person championship match?
