At WWE SummerSlam a year ago, the WWE Universal and WWE World Championship matches were featuring a much smaller lineup of men. For the Universal Championship, Finn Balor defeated Seth Rollins in a really good bout that was overshadowed by idiots and marks in the crowd whining about the color of the title. The WWE World Championship was successfully defended by Dean Ambrose, as he took down Dolph Ziggler. This year, these four men are completely lost with nothing to do currently.

Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Finn Balor are all floating in the mid to upper mid card feuds. Dean Ambrose lost, again, to The Miz and should not continue that feud. Seth Rollins should transition his way into The Miz and aim for a shot at the WWE Intercontinental Championship. If AJ Styles and Kevin Owens (both World and Universal Champions to kick off 2017) can battle for the United States Championship, Seth Rollins can aim for the white title that The Miz has made much more important. Where would that leave Finn?

It could be such easy and unique booking if we finally see The Demon King at WWE SummerSlam, thanks to Bray Wyatt pulling that character out of him once more. Bray vs. Finn could be special, could really stretch the limits of logic and creativity leading into an encounter at SummerSlam. Both men are way too good to leave off of the card and this could give them meaning, could give them importance and can please the crowd in Brooklyn and all over the world. The Eater of Worlds vs. The Demon King. They also have 4 weeks, which is plenty of time, to make this work.
