Gallows and Anderson defeated Cesaro and Sheamus
I am going to stop all of the complaining right here… for now. This tag team match was great, got a very casual crowd in Little Rock chanting “This is awesome.” This is not a mark hungry crowd like Chicago or a passionate crowd like New York. This is Arkansas, where sometimes their reaction might tell you more than big cities. The championship match tonight showed Sheamus accidentally hitting the referee and another referee coming in to make the count for Gallows and Anderson. It looks like we have new tag team champions, but referee John Cone announces a disqualification. After a great match, fans will want to see these two teams feud again. I sense a title match at the Royal Rumble, which could be a perfect stage for Gallows and Anderson to capture gold.
Screwing over Gallows and Anderson is smart, for now. People have bitched and complained since they were split up from AJ Styles about them not being important. Just because they did not win the tag team championships yet means NOTHING. When they do, it will be more important and more of a surprise. I think they should have dethroned The New Day, but that is irrelevant now.
They continue to be placed in storylines with the top tag teams, continue to get more time in matches and are still extremely valuable to a division that has moved on from The New Day. They have been here for 9 months. Relax.
New Day and Titus Continue
Not a fan of this, but thank God Big E and The New Day are entertaining. I am really not sure where they go from here and neither do the writers. Ever since losing the championships, they are stuck in some odd feud with Titus O’Neil and cannot seem to find any sort of importance. Again, they are still very entertaining but when will the time come when they do something more important. Hopefully, this is temporary. Also, is it out of the realm of possibility to have Big E get a push in a singles run? You can still use Kofi and Woods as his boys, but focus on something outside of the usual tag team and 6 man tag team matches. Get more creative with a guy that oozes charisma.
