Enzo and Cass defeated Rusev and Jinder Mahal
Rusev teamed with Jinder Mahal to fight his recent enemies in Enzo and Cass. I thought this was a really solid outing from Enzo and Cass tonight, as they carried the offense a bit more than usual. Most matches would see Enzo dominated for most of the match until the big man comes in with some boots and cleans house. Tonight was similar, but there was more to enjoy. Big Cass should enter the Royal Rumble, but there is no need for Enzo to. I also think adding Rusev would make him a big underdog, but not completely out of the realm of possibilities. Remember, before Sheamus won the rumble he was muddling around the mid card. This immediately elevates someone to the top without having to rely on part time guys.
Either way, we all know that this feud is a placeholder until February and March. I have enjoyed it and think it has given us more than expected. Enzo and Cass must be in a championship match at WrestleMania. If not, this whole year of incredible pops and enjoyment from the crowd is kind of forgotten. They deserve it and the Orlando crowd would go bananas.
Neville Attacks Again
As Rich Swann was set to take on Tony Nese, Neville comes out and attacks the champion. Tony Nese gets involved, but Neville tosses him outside of the ring. Neville and Swann trade shots back and forth, with Neville eventually getting the upper hand.
Neville is dastardly and I am enjoying it. He is not caring about anyone but himself and that fits him perfectly right now. He looks intense and his attacks have so much more than the basic attacks to them. He is following through with moves, connecting with excellent shots to every body part and reminds us that he is truly one of the most talented guys on this roster. Well done in a short time span to keep Neville hot.
