TLC Match for the WWE World Championship
The WWE World Championship match delivered an excellent TLC bout, with AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose. The action was all over, including an incredible 360 Splash through a table, thanks to the athletic skills of AJ Styles. Dean Ambrose hit an elbow drop that crashed the champion through a table, as well as using the ladder to toss him off. After all of the great spots, Dean Ambrose was heading up top, but James Ellsworth tipped the ladder over and Dean Ambrose crashed through multiple tables on the outside. AJ Styles would climb the ladder and pick up the win.
This was a great TLC match and showed me that NOBODY can put on a performance as good as AJ Styles. He might be one of the best performers I have ever seen. With Seth Rollins on RAW, nobody can touch AJ Styles and his incredible abilities in the ring. I also give credit to the high risk taking of Dean Ambrose, a guy that knew he had to step his game up. Yes, James Ellsworth was a big talking point but this needed to happen. Another win by Styles in heel fashion and Ellsworth gets the heat (if there are some, since many people booed Dean).
Dean Ambrose should move on to something else. I can see Smackdown, having a few weeks until they MUST hype up a Royal Rumble championship match, finishing up the feuds here and potentially having a Dean Ambrose vs. AJ Styles match again after Ellsworth gets his shot. Either way, we know AJ Styles will and should be champion heading into Orlando. As for Dean, enter the rumble and then see what could be next for him. I am not sure, to be completely honest.
