Isenberg Reacts: WWE No Mercy “Showing Off High Drama”

A Much Needed Return

The build was much better than the match. To be honest with you, this was the definition of a really good Smackdown Live main event. Bray took control early on, really focusing on the back of Randy Orton. It was a slow burn, as the match only lasted 15 minutes. I wanted it to be longer, more drawn out and more physical. Wyatt goes for a running senton, Orton hit a back suplex to Wyatt on the barricade and then threw him back into the ring. He sets up and connects with a DDT. Randy gets the crowd up and ready for an RKO, but the lights go out. Luke Harper appears in the ring. Wyatt hits Randy Orton with Sister Abigail to pickup the victory.

This is a much needed return and a good way to bring Luke Harper back. I love Harper and his ability in the ring, but his facial expressions and actions outside make him complete. Bray is always good, but the family made him great. A win on a PPV for Bray was overdue and this was the obvious choice for him to pickup a victory and not have Randy Orton look bad. The match itself was decent, with an ending that worked. It furthers their feud and can hopefully get some much needed heat and excitement back on Bray Wyatt. Like I said, the delivery of the match was nothing amazing and Luke Harper saved it from being a completely forgettable match on a Smackdown Live card. I expected better, but was not completely disappointed.
