Nia Jax Squashes Again
Time. That is what WWE is doing with Nia Jax. She uses another week and another squash. Yes, she took the week off last week. I like Nia Jax because she is different. I think she can be better and more dominant in a division that Kharma could have been.
What is her appeal? We should get to know more about Nia Jax in due time. Talk about her heritage. Talk about why she is unique and put a big spotlight on her strength and size. I want to see her feud with someone meaningful, but who? Will she be booked like this for a while, only to realize that there is not much else for her?
Suplex City on Raw
Paul Heyman is interrupted by Heath Slater. He asks for Paul’s help and then gets in the ring. He wants a contract and says he will face The Beast. Heath begs and then Brock gets the mic and says that he does not care about Heath Slater’s kids. He tells him to get out on his own feet or piss him off. Brock attacks and takes out the former tag team champion.
Paul Heyman hypes the show and the match at SummerSlam. Paul Heyman says that Brock Lesnar is the box office attraction and says that Randy Orton has no chance.
The usual, but still effective. I liked the involvement of Heath Slater, showing some physicality and sending a message to Randy Orton. We had the physicality a few weeks ago. I expect something similar from Randy Orton on Smackdown, talking about why he has a chance. No fighting needed. Save it for Sunday.
