A British Point of View: WrestleMania 32 Diary Part Two

I had planned to give you a daily update on my time in Dallas but things were so hectic I’ve ended up summing up the rest of my experience in Dallas in this second part.

Saturday was the Hall of Fame and the most notable talking point coming out of the event was the announcement from Sting that he is retiring from active competition. I’m glad that he managed to finish his career in WWE, it’s just a shame that the Undertaker Vs Sting match will go in that pile of dream contests which will never take place.

I was quite surprised at the Legacy inductions as I thought that there were quite a few who could have been regular inductees in future years but never-the-less, congratulations to all those inducted, well deserved.

Then came WrestleMania Sunday. Arlington, Texas and the biggest stage possible in the AT&T Stadium. Luckily we were only slightly delayed in entering the stadium due to the much talked about Wi-Fi issues at the venue. Some of the people in front of us were victims of the scanners not working on their tickets and had to queue in other areas to allow them access. Fortunately, we didn’t have any problems and we gained access straight away. What a view it was too.
