The Reunion of Spud and Carter
Smart. Logical. Interesting. With EC3 wanting to fight on his own against Tyrus and Matt Hardy, his former pal Rockstar Spud came out to aid him. The spotlight never left Hardy and Carter, but the swapping of role players aided this feud. We remember how good Spud and Carter were as heels, right? They can be even better as faces due to the events changing their paths.
It is hard to forget about the epic battle between the two, but EC3 and Spud developed a respect after that match. It helped Spud really become important and become a staple for the company. When you bring these guys together, they just get how to work with one another. Whether it is witty banter or intense matches, they bring out the best of each other.
The main event segment gave us a good tag team match, a better reunion and still the best storyline the company has going. Is Lethal Lockdown must see next week? Yes. I just wish that they do not move on from there. Something has to happen to give us another 1-2 months of EC3 chasing Hardy.
