Brock Lesnar and Dean Ambrose
Dean Ambrose begins to talk about Brock Lesnar being soft. He pokes the Beast and here comes Lesnar and Heyman. Dean Ambrose attacks and Brock Lesnar drives his knees into Ambrose’s stomach. He throws him into the barricade and then hits a clothesline in the ring. He hits an F-5 and then walks out of the ring. Brock looks back and Dean Ambrose asks for more. Roman Reigns’ music hits and he walks down to the ring ready to fight. Dean Ambrose hits a low blow and the beast falls to the mat.
I was expecting more. It was not bad, but ended oddly. It seemed that Roman Reigns was going to attack, but he did not. Dean looked resilient and the underdog. Mission accomplished for the WWE tonight where they can book him as a fighter, someone who will not stay down.
Mismanaging Heels
The Lucha Dragons took on Alberto Del Rio and Rusev. Think about it like this: Rusev may not have a spot on the WrestleMania card, one year after being unpinned and facing John Cena. WWE will find SOME way to put him on the card if I am a betting man. This match and this pairing shows how mismanaged these guys have been recently. I like Kalisto and think he has such great potential, but the heels are just on a more important level (or should be). At the end of the day, WWE screwed up massively with Rusev. Where is Lana? Why is there not much consistency in booking these guys to look strong?
