Charlotte vs. Alicia Fox
Charlotte controls most of the match with a Northern Lights Suplex. Charlotte works a lot of submission moves with her legs and lower body strength. Alicia Fox hits a nice dropkick and then connects with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Charlotte is able to reverse it and then make Alicia tap out.
Alicia Fox is so good, it’s sad she does not get a bigger push. Either way, this was a technically sound contest with two women featured that focus a lot on their timing. Alicia hits her patented moves and Charlotte continues to egg the crowd on to boo her. It also seemed that the crowd was really behind Alicia tonight and that crazy attitude from a year ago began to kick in.
MizTV Turns Into The Highlight Reel
The Miz starts off MizTV and then the crew quickly changes it into The Highlight Reel. Chris Jericho talks about his rough week and says he lost twice this past week on Smackdown. The Miz talks about losing his teeth and Jericho chimes in with a jingle. AJ Styles comes up and both men exchange words about how they both lost to him. Jericho says it is eating him alive that he lost. He calls himself the best in the world at what he does. Out comes AJ Styles, but The Miz attacks Jericho. Styles gets into the ring and then unloads on The Miz. Jericho clotheslines him and both men stare at the other. Jericho bumps him from behind and both men will face off on Smackdown.
Another solid segment. People might complain about AJ Styles fighting The Miz and Chris Jericho, but you can’t expect him to be in the main event right away. Utilize him just like this and let him get a few nice wins under his belt. I would love to see Jericho and Styles at WWE Fastlane. You can see the slow turn from Jericho, who DESPERATELY needs to be a heel. The Miz does such a great job on the mic and is really helping being right in the middle of two fan favorites.
