Beer Money is Back
James Storm and Bobby Roode take on Jesse Godderz and Eli Drake in tag team action. Although Godderz and Drake got a little bit of offense in, it was all about the reunion of Beer Money. I loved Beer Money. I thought they were the perfect balance for one another, but I still question their pairing again now in 2016.
We have seen these guys become successful on their end and the tag team division should focus on the new teams, the younger guys and being able to hopefully develop a team as successful as Beer Money was. James and Bobby are going to have fun and put on good matches, but Beer Money being back might mean the stunting of younger pairings.
The Miracle Makes His In-Ring Debut
Mike Bennett with Maria makes his in-ring debut against Pepper Parks. Bennett hits a super kick to Parks, followed by right hands. Bennett follows up his offense with a clothesline and a big boot. Mike Bennett shows his strength with a vertical suplex. Dominating, he hits a spine buster and a Falcon Arrow for the win.
Bennett can certainly wrestle and we will see that soon. This is just the start of what could be something very good. I know he can talk and has a great manager, so the pieces are there. We will see how quickly he gets pushed, but tonight was a positive. Give the crowd a sample of what he can do, not the whole meal. Continue to develop his character, which is the hardest thing to do.
